Saunders delivers a personal experience where faculty get to know students by name, while RIT provides a large technology university's creativity and innovation resources. Research Centers include The Construct, a rapid-prototyping maker space; MAGIC Spell Studios, providing a fully functional film sound stage and production facilities; The ESL Global Cybersecurity Institute, keeping RIT at the nexus of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence; and Venture Creations incubator, helping students attract venture capital to fund their startups.

Students learn from faculty members who have industry experience and publish in elite academic journals as thought leaders. Their research has a meaningful impact on the world around us, including wearable tech, innovation and sustainability, algorithm trading in exchange-traded funds, new investment strategies, ethics and uncovering fake Amazon reviews.
