The ISEG campus is composed by the Inglesinhas Convent (Quelhas building), which is the most antique building and is the historical mark of the School, which has received national and international press recognition for its architectonic style. This building was recovered and modernized by the architect named Gonçalo Byrne and is now where the post-graduate, masters, and doctorate lectures are held. The other part of the campus is composed by two modern buildings, where the undergraduate courses are lectured, and the library. As a way of preservation of National Heritage, the convent is also used frequently for classical music concerts and painting exhibitions.
The ISEG is situated downtown in Lisbon, very close to the Parliament. In a beautiful location, on the top of a hill facing Lisbon and the Tagus River, ISEG has an extraordinary ambience. Its facilities were totally renovated recently, offering at this moment top-quality facilities to its students and faculty. In a very modern campus, several computer rooms with full Wi-Fi access; a library considered to be one of the best in the country, in the fields of economics, applied mathematics and related social sciences; the classrooms of ISEG are modern and very comfortable and equipped with the best research tools for a school of excellence, computers, internet access, online databases, printer, and projector. ISEG provides a stimulating academic environment for the personal and professional development of future managers and economists.
The library and computer center offer over 80000 specialized books, journal and periodicals. In fact, its economic documentation is the most complete of its kind in the country. As well as hosting all the modern information services necessary for study and research, the library provides very comfortable reading facilities. The library acts as a depositary for World Bank Publications.
ISEG also has a bookshop selling textbooks, literature and stationery, three snack bars, a canteen and a restaurant and two parking lots.
All students have access to an e-mail address and to a computer room. Users who have a portable computer with a wireless network board can read their e-mail or access the web from numerous locations around the Campus of ISEG without having to hook up their modems.

ISEG was the 1st school of Economics and Management founded in Portugal, officially in 1911. Our distinguished Alumni of all generations make us proud with their contribution to society, both in the private sector and in the public sphere, throughout the world. We are celebrating our 110th anniversary in 2021 – would you like to join us?
The ISEG campus is located in the centre of the city of Lisbon, between Lapa and the Assembly of the Republic, to where it moved in 1911 – when the old Convent of the English Bridgettine Order was expropriated and ceded to the Instituto Superior do Comércio.
The Campus is composed by the following buildings:
Francesinhas I and Francesinhas II
Where the undergraduate classes are taught.
Quelhas Building
The site of the old Bridgettine Convent, where Postgraduate and Masters classes are taught.
Francisco Pereira de Moura Library
It is named in memory of the former ISEG professor, Francisco Pereira de Moura.
Bento de Jesus Caraça Building
Houses the offices of the various departments and research centres.
