Higher education in Argentina is offered at 38 national universities, 41 private universities, 6 public university institutes, 12 private university institutes, 1 provincial university, 1 foreign university and 1 international university.
Private and parochial universities are also abundant, numbering 46 among the active institutions; however, their cost often constrains them to affluent students, and they enroll only about a sixth of the national collegiate student body. In all, over 1.5 million students attend institutions of higher learning in Argentina annually (roughly half the population of college age).

Scholarships for Studying in Argentina:
Scholarships are based on the academic results and the financial background of the student. The conditions to obtain a scholarship depend on each university and you will often be asked to provide a cover letter and pass an interview. For more information, please directly contact the universities of your choice. Also note that these scholarships do not cover all your expenses, often ranging from 25-75% of your tuition fees. You can get more information on scholarships programs for Argentina through the programa nacional de becas universitarias (PNBU). Loans are also offered by universities.
