The School is proud to have facilities that approach the best in Business Education worldwide
The Mochtar Riady Building
To meet increasing student enrolments and to match the best in global standards, the Business School moved to its new 16,800 sq metres building in early 2010.
The nine-storey building houses the latest learning and teaching technologies in its classrooms and interactive zones with a range of tiered and flat classrooms for all degree programs. In addition the building is equipped with dedicated large function rooms for dining, breakout rooms and other meeting places. These functions rooms have flexible layouts and provide alternative venues for workshops, special corporate functions and school events. All the classrooms are fitted with the latest web-casting technology with provisions for future fiber-optic cabling, and the entire school is enveloped in a wireless internet environment. A modern Café located in the Atrium provides delicious dining and snacks for students and staff.
The facilities have been clustered to encourage interaction, but at the same time provide areas dedicated to the BBA, MBA, EMBA and executive programs. Faculty offices are also clustered by departments and social areas exist to encourage interaction. There are also ample interactive spaces for students for informal discussions.
Behavioral and Experimental Laboratories
There are behavioural laboratories equipped with cameras and speakers, with attached recording and observation rooms designed to facilitate conduct of focus groups or other behavioural exercises. Experimental laboratories fitted with specially designed workstations have been designed and fitted for conduct of computer based experiments in both research and training. In addition, there are also dedicated teaching laboratories with convertible furnishings to double up as additional experimental venues.
CAMRI Investment Management & Trading Laboratory
The Investment Management & Trading Lab is the focal point of Centre for Asset Management and Research Institute's (CAMRI) teaching, training and educational activities. In line with its mission of conducting research and education in Asian fund management, it focuses heavily on financial applications and databases, particularly Asian securities. To enhance the portfolio management experience of students, the lab has dedicated workstations equipped with Thomson Reuters applications, live data and ticker feeds, BARRA portfolio and risk management software modules, FTS and Imagine trading systems, as well as various other investment management software applications. These allow our students to gain first-hand experience with the same sophisticated tools that investment professionals use, hence preparing them adequately for their future careers in the financial industry.

Database/Information Technology
The School has excellent IT facilities, reflecting the strong priority the University places on its technology infrastructure. From the teaching perspective, the on-line learning environment has undergone a major upgrade to improve capabilities and utility. A recent upgrade in the campus network has boosted wireless speeds of up to 200Mbps with WPA2 encryption, and wired connections to 1.0Gbps. Mobile applications like Campus Map and Student Timetables are being rolled out systematically in line with the phenomenal growth of mobile devices.
In addition there are numerous dedicated internet kiosks sited all around the Mochtar Riady Building. These are equipped with internet access by visitors and staff and students for internet browsing and email access.
Residential Facilities
There are approximately 7,000 residential places in 6 Halls of Residence distributed in Kent Ridge Campus and 4 Residential Colleges in University Town for students. The University aims to allow at least one year of on-campus accommodation for all students. The NUS University Town (UTown), the first of its kind in Singapore's higher learning landscape, opened its doors in 2011. Located across the NUS Kent Ridge campus, this is where some 2,400 undergraduate students, 1,700 graduate students and 1,000 researchers will work, live, and learn in close proximity. Undergraduates staying in the Residential Colleges have the opportunity to combine the vibrancy of campus living with an exciting multidisciplinary academic programme. Graduate students moving into the Graduate Residence can look forward to facilities dedicated to the university's growing graduate community. Top researchers from world-class research institutes will gather under one roof to form loci of innovation at the Campus for Research Excellence and Technological Enterprise (CREATE). With purposeful facilities designed to encourage an open exchange of ideas, this is where creativity, innovation and enterprise will flourish.
