Plekhanov Russian University of Economics - International Business School (IBS Plekhanov)

Plekhanov University, which we are part of, is lucky to have its campus in the very centre of Moscow, a half an hour walk away from the Kremlin. The campus includes seven buildings with classrooms, offices and laboratories, a club and a students dormitory, which is only a 5 minute walk away from the campus. The Deans Office of IBS Plekhanov is in building 1. 

Computer labs and the International Office is located in building 3 of the University. The Library and the department of Russian Language are in building 6. The Accounts are in building 5. Classrooms are in all buildings accept for building 5 - our schedules always indicate the room number and in brackets the building number. The nearest Metro Station is Serpukhovskaya (Grey Line), which is only a 2 minute walk away from the main building 3.

What we, Plekhanov International Business School (IBS-Plekhanov) are:  - Plekhanov Russian University of Economics is the oldest university with focus in Economics in Russia, since 1907. It is one of the largest in the country, with the student population exceeding 50 000. QS-rated, QS stars: 4 stars, with 5 stars for teaching excellence and graduate employability. One of the top 15 universities in the country for Friendliness to international students. Its main campus and dormitory are in the very heart of Moscow. - IBS-Plekhanov faculty is the first program in Russia's higher education taught entirely in English, since 1992.  ECTS-measured, with very strong links with international business community, proper international student mobility for over 24 years now. - IBS-Plekhanov faculty (its core, the English programs) is kept compact. There are around 100 students in each of the 4 years of its undergraduate programs taught in English (Bachelor of Economics: profile Finance and Credit and Bachelor of Management: Profile Marketing), and around 55 in each of the 2 years of its Master Degree programs taught in English (Master of International Corporate Finance and Master of International Innovation Management). International exchange and Double Degree students from 65 of our partner universities from all over the world study alongside with our national students and find the experience highly instructive and rewarding. - In 2016, together with the growth of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics we are part of, IBS-Plekhanov faculty integrated 2 more faculties into its structure. We offer our students, national and international alike, even more value and choice now: we now have 3 more Bachelor programs, and 6 more Master programs. Thus, in 2016 we offer 5 Bachelor programs, and 8 Master programs, with the student population of IBS-Plekhanov faculty at 1 973 students. Since the faculties integrated by us were part of the same first-class state-owned university, and subject to the same quality procedures, international and international accreditations, all our accreditations remain valid when we are larger than before: ECBE, national accreditations etc., for the same dates. The core of our dedicated management and teaching team is the same as before, ensuring complete continuity, and at the same time, with more professionals joining us, we have become even stronger.
