MIM-Kyiv is the Ukraine’s premier business school. Founded as a stand-alone school it was the first to introduce the concept and phenomenon of business education in the ex-USSR. Being number one is in MIM-Kyiv’s DNA as it was the first educational international joint venture between the International Management Institute (Geneva, Switzerland) and the Institute of Economy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Kyiv, Ukraine). Conceived as an international institution MIM-Kyiv is active both in the national market and region-wide. In 2015 MIM-Kyiv was awarded AMBA accreditation in addition to its more than 10 years long CEEMAN IQA accreditation. The AMBA accreditation panel called the school “national and international asset” for its commitment, aspiration and authentic international intention of the leadership team of the institution, and recognition of the importance of the institution. MIM-Kyiv is a full-fledged member of all prominent global and regional management development associations. It joined AACSB international in order to promote global standards, best practices and diversity in the Eastern Europe and CIS countries, and on the other hand share its experience of real needs of the business-schools in the region. MIM-Kyiv is also a member of EFMD and AMBA. The school is active in the Baltic Management Development Association and CEEMAN to reinforce its visibility and position in the Eastern Europe. MIM-Kyiv does its best to develop quality international partnership. In addition to its cooperation with the IMD and its World Competitiveness Center (Switzerland), Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University and Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness at Harvard Business School (both the USA) MIM-Kyiv launched the cooperation with the Business School of the Stellenbosch University (South Africa), established the partnership with the EADA Business School (Western Europe), Central European University, CEU (Hungary), ISM University of Management and Economics (Lithuania) and Africa (University of Stellenbosch Business School). MIM-Kyiv is also well-connected in Asia (School of Business at Ningbo University, China and Almaty University of Management). MIM-Kyiv is active in different international and regional initiatives, namely PRME (Principles of Responsible Management Education), PRME Chapter for CEE, CEEMAN research projects, etc.
