SKOLKOVO School of Management

The Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO, established in 2006, has rapidly ascended as a top-tier institution for nurturing entrepreneurial and managerial leaders tailor-made for the emerging markets of Eurasia. Nestled near Moscow, its sprawling 42,890 m² campus is not just a facility but a testament to futuristic design, crafted by the renowned Adjaye Associates. The campus uniquely exemplifies the "city-in-the-city" concept, distinguished by its disc-shaped layout and profound influence from Russian Suprematism art, garnering international acclaim for its visionary architecture.

SKOLKOVO's core mission is the cultivation of transformative leaders, achieved through a focus on sustainability, innovation, and serving as a critical conduit between Eastern and Western business methodologies. The institution embraces hands-on learning, a philosophy it terms "learning-by-doing," ensuring students are harnessed with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience, essential for navigating today’s complex business landscapes. Students engage in real-world projects alongside international exchanges, honing skills necessary for tackling global challenges.

Strategically aligned with its mission, SKOLKOVO administers two MBA cohorts annually, with additions such as an Executive MBA each spring and a joint EMBA program with HKUST Business School targeting Eurasia. It leverages its expertise on Eurasian dynamics, offering programs in both English and Russian, thus ensuring inclusivity for a diverse student body. This approach has not only catapulted SKOLKOVO to the forefront of Russian business education, earning it the highest MBA ranking in Russia by The Secret of The Firm in 2014 but also underscores its positioning as a leader in entrepreneurial education across various important sectors like healthcare and public strategy.

The SKOLKOVO alumni network is a robust ecosystem providing an expansive platform for continual collaboration and mentorship across Eurasia and globally. Stemming from landmark events like the First Annual Alumni Convention in 2014, this network fortifies the school’s commitment to career development. Through various events and initiatives, the alumni community fosters enduring relationships among leaders in multinational corporations, startups, and the public sector, enhancing each member's career trajectory.

Corporate partnerships stand as a cornerstone of SKOLKOVO's stature, offering customized executive education tailored to specific industries such as healthcare, IT, and fintech. Since the launch of the Institute for Public Strategy in 2017, the school has advanced its agenda for governance modernization, healthcare management, and strengthening leadership roles in non-profits, ensuring its graduates are prepared to address the demands of public sector management.

The commitment to sustainability is intricately woven into SKOLKOVO’s mission, with a strong emphasis on eco-conscious leadership development across Eurasia.
