Audencia Business School is a century-old Grande École founded in 1900 in Nantes, France, recognized with the prestigious triple crown accreditation (EQUIS, AACSB, AMBA). Hosting nearly 7,200 students from over 130 countries, it operates campuses in France, China, and Brazil, with more than half of its population coming from abroad. The school’s identity blends “audientia” and “audacia,” reflecting its ethos of attentive leadership and bold innovation.
Audencia integrates CSR and sustainability across all academic levels, supported by strong international partnerships and a faculty composed of global experts. Its vision centers on responsibility, inclusivity, and societal impact within a modern business landscape.
Audencia is known for its capacity to provide a high-quality environment for its students, faculty, and staff. The School has premises in Nantes, Paris and Beijing:
- Nantes: the main and historical campus (23,000 m²) and the Executive Center in Nantes (2,100 m²) since 2014 for executive education activities including the Executive MBA;
- Paris: the Montparnasse premises (300 m²) since 2013 for executive education activities, some Specialized Masters, the DBA and the Audencia Alumni Center;
- Beijing: the Cooperative Centre for Studies Audencia at BIT since 2014 as base of Audencia’s operations in China.
The main campus is located close to the Nantes city centre. In addition to traditional facilities (library, computer facilities, video-conferencing room), Audencia is one of the few French schools to have its own gymnasium, fitness room, and music room.
The School offers a number of distinctive services not commonly found in a French Grande Ecole: 24/7 open-access computer labs, a print shop, recreation rooms, a modular forum.
For its pedagogy, the School has an incubator, a trading room, a mock supermarket lab, and dedicated space to facilitate creativity, innovation, and interactivity, i.e., a Learning Lab and a Fab Lab (called the ‘Playground’). All these resources are accessible for reservation 24/7 through a centralized system.
Audencia’s main campus has 10 auditoriums seating from 27-352 and 44 classrooms for a total capacity of 2,755 seats. There are 154 offices and meeting rooms, a library of 1,200 m², 10 computer rooms (accessible 24/7), a sports hall (1,200 m²), and an area of 350 m² set aside for the School’s student associations and accessible 24/7.
Classrooms designed for 40 people are equipped with video projectors. Smaller rooms of 22 seats are generally used for language classes and are equipped with large, flat screen LED TVs and amplified speakers.
Classrooms are used by all School programs; the reservation system is coordinated by program assistants using an ERP of the School.
