Equipment
The construction of CENTRUM Católica (CC) – on a campus independent of the parent Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú - began in August 2000, was completed in February 2001, and opened its doors on March 2, 2001. The infrastructure was designed with an entrepreneurial perspective and the classrooms were all equipped with state-of-the art technology. The campus is completely connected to wireless Internet, inside the classrooms as well as outside, and since june 2016 all of our classrooms are equipped with interactive screens and multiple repeaters. The facility has 17 classrooms with a capacity to accommodate over 750 students, 40 study rooms and an auditorium that seats over 500 people. Our main campus is in a 40% expansion process which will be available in January 2017. Our Bogota’s (Colombia) campus was expanded in a 100%, in use since may 2016.
We also are in 9 cities in Peru with third party locations.
Every effort has been made during the school’s 16 years of operation to assure that CC’s infrastructure and equipment remains the most up-to-date available in the marketplace.
CC’s library, DOCIS (Documentation, Information and Systems Center), contains some 9,000 books and 2 dozen data bases, as well as 150 magazine titles, and myriad audio-visual and other research materials.
